Introduction

This criterion evaluates the proficiency of an educational leader in utilizing technology as a means to augment both student learning and staff productivity.

I've come to understand that technology plays a significant role in enhancing educators' credibility among both students and colleagues. Furthermore, integrating technology into teaching practices can heighten teachers' awareness of students' progress, as highlighted by Himmelsbach (2019).

It's essential for teachers to acquire proficiency in technology because those who are knowledgeable are better equipped to assist their students, thus increasing their credibility in the educational realm.

However, it's crucial to recognize that the use of technology devices like laptops in the classroom can lead to significant distractions for students, ultimately hindering their learning outcomes. Research by Himmelsbach (2019) indicates that students who utilize computers during class tend to learn less and consequently achieve lower grades.
